So what is the difference between your $30-$50 costumes, versus your more expensive collector editions?  Well the major difference is overall quality of the costumes.  Let’s start with material.  Where some material might be just fine for a less expensive costume to pull off “the look” and feel.  A replica costume will have a higher quality material just to start, coupled with superior stitching of the fabric itself.

Now let’s talk about the authenticity.  If you were to purchase a $50 Batman costume for example, you may find that it does have some detail to the chest plate area, the mask may be of the same material, boot covers, no gloves…you get the picture.  Not a bad costume at all, but certainly not in the same category as keeping with the authenticity of the true Batman Replica costume.  With the Batman Replica, you will see that the mask, body armor, gloves, utility belt, etc all have the details and strong presence that exudes the superhero movie character. 

Same goes for the DC Comic Book version of Batman.  This Collector’s Edition is rippled with detail and stands out proper as a high class superhero costume.  Much detail went into this Batman costume including the chest, upper arms, gloves that have the gauntlents, upper legs, the utility belt, mask and cape.  Very different from the above mentioned Batman costume, but still a very strong piece of artwork in and of itself.

The same goes with two other Batman Comic and Movie characters, Robin and Batgirl.  Batgirl’s Collector edition is simply perfect!  Any woman that digs Batgirl will dig having this costume as one not only to wear on occasion, but as a perfect speciman of a female superhero’s ultimate outfit.  This is a FULL leotard equiped with corset, beautiful satin cape, boot tops, killer gloves, shoulder pieces and the latex belt buckle and eye mask just pull this collector’s favorite all together.

Robin’s deluxe costume is based off the movie with George Clooney and Chris O’Donnell, wheras Chris played Robin the boy wonder.  But more like a man, than a boy.  This costume is riddled with features such as the ripped chest, arms, thighs, detailed gloves, belt, cape and eye mask.  Don’t mistake it, this is a wonderful piece and should be worn with pride and protected for long term car.

It takes alot of time and effort to put into making the movie version and collector’s style outfits.  There are many more superhero movies on the horizon, as well as great sci-fi and other future costume’s to collect.
